Fernando Fernández Aransay

Lawyer, he has a Law Degree from the Complutense University of Madrid and a Master’s Degree in Legal Advice from the Instituto de Empresa. Member of the Bar Association of Madrid since 1993. His working languages are Spanish, English and French.

After working as a lawyer in Mochales & Palacios office, he worked for several years for the Ministry of Culture, where he was involved in the negotiation of compensatory remuneration for private copying levies and in the preparation of the revised text of the Intellectual Property Law of 1996.

Later he was a lawyer for the audiovisual group Antena 3 a Television channel and for several years director of the legal consultancy of Aurum Producciones, (film and television production and its distribution), today Entertainment One, until in 2001 he set up on his own.

He has extensive experience in advising audiovisual companies (in addition to others such as literary and musical publishers), with a constant and growing attention for international issues.

Fernando regularly lectures at the Universidad Pontificia de Comillas and other educational forums.
